Comparison of APG and APGD Pile

See The Comparison

The conventional Auger Pressure Grouted (APG) pile is formed by augering materials from the ground to the surface with a continuous flight auger. Auger Pressure Grouted Displacement (APGD) piles are formed by displacing the soil to the perimeter of the pile.

One of the advantages of the APG is its large diameter capabililties, up to 36 inches for projects with high lateral loading requirements. The APGD advantage is the "minimal spoil" characteristic. It is ideal for work in contaminated soil conditions.
